How to play Daily Fantasy Contests on SuperDraft

Types of Daily Fantasy Contests

Daily Fantasy Contests Overview

Summary

Contrasting Salary Cap, the Multiplier game mode is our own, unique take on a DFS contest. Players are assigned a “multiplier” value based on their performance. There are no limits or restrictions when drafting players. It is your goal to draft the best possible lineup for the contest you are entering.

Roster structure

Draft 1 champion scoring an additional 50% of its multiplier and 4 FLEX players. Players are drafted with multiplier values.

Summary

In the Salary Cap draft style you are given a total salary cap of $80,000 to draft your lineup. Players are assigned a salary based on their value as determined by SuperDraft. Your job is to draft the best possible lineup for the contest you are entering. Using the full salary cap doesn’t always guarantee the best lineup.

Player Pool

The available players within a contest will consist of the active players from the teams within its “Draft Group”. A “Draft Group” is a number of teams playing in games associated with a contest. A player could potentially be missing from the Player Pool due to recent trades or unforeseen circumstances.

Once the Player Pool and their individual values (Salary or Multiplier) are established for a Draft Group they should not change. On rare occasions, SuperDraft reserves the right to change the Player Pool to fix inaccurate information. If these changes affect your lineup you will be notified via Email and/or app notification.

Player Eligibility

Positions of players are determined at the sole discretion of SuperDraft.

Canceled, Postponed, and Rescheduled Games

In the event that a game is canceled, postponed, or rescheduled to a time outside of the original Draft Group, the game will be disabled in the Draft Group and players listed to play in that game will not score points.

SuperDraft may choose to adjust the Draft Group at their sole discretion to accommodate schedule changes at any time before 12:00 am ET on the date the Draft Group is scheduled to start and/or if the adjustment would move the Draft Group start time by 15 minutes or less.

Any games that are disabled will be indicated as such on Draft Screens. Emails and other notifications may also be used to notify users of disabled games.

If canceled or rescheduled games result in a Draft Group including only one active game then all contests for that Draft Group will be canceled and refunded.

Games are “known” to be canceled or postponed once their status is updated as such by SuperDraft’s stats provider.

If canceled or rescheduled games result in a Draft Group with zero active games, all contests for that Draft Group will be canceled and refunded.

Suspended or Shortened Games

SuperDraft uses official statistics. If the declared game is “suspended”, then the statistics generated before the game was suspended will count in any Draft Groups containing said game. Statistics occurring when the game resumes will not be included.

DFS contest winnings

It can take up to 24 hours for your SuperDraft balance to reflect winnings from any given contest. If your winnings are not visible in your balance after this period of time, please contact our Support Team.

Funds available for withdrawal

Once your winnings hit your account, they will be available for withdrawal into your bank account. The minimum withdrawal amount is $10. If you’re having trouble with withdrawals, please contact our Support Team.

What is a Late Swap?

Late Swap is a function available to some game modes, which allows swapping of a lineup’s players after the start of the contest.

What happens if I tie with another user?

Depending on what game type you’re playing – either a Head to Head or Multiplayer – prizes for tied positions can vary:

  • Head to Head: For a tie here, both of the participants split the total prize, 50/50.
  • Multiplayer: This type is easier to explain by example. If 2nd place pays out at $100 USD and 3rd $50 USD, the two users tied for 2nd place would each win a prize of $75 USD. Effectively, a combination of the two prizes split evenly between the two participants.

What happens if a game is canceled, postponed, or rescheduled?

In the event that a game is canceled, postponed, or rescheduled to a time outside of the original Draft Group, the game will be disabled in the Draft Group and players listed to play in that game will not score points.

Why is my account not showing my winnings?

It can take up to 24 hours for your SuperDraft balance to reflect winnings from any given contest. If your winnings are not visible in your balance after this period of time, please contact our Support Team.

What happens when a player is traded?

This happens all the time, so we understand the concern. The day the player in-question is traded, they may (visually) remain on their old team, when looking at a contest, for a short period of time. Updates often occur around midnight, US Eastern Time – so be sure to check back in the morning!

If you have a traded player in your lineup that has not been updated, that player will simply not accrue points. If the contest has not started, you can edit your lineup before the start to replace that player.

As a general rule of thumb, be sure to check-out player card details before drafting. It may be best to avoid drafting a player if there are rumors of their impending trade.

What happens if I forget to draft a lineup?

When visiting your “Upcoming” contests, you will be shown all contests that do not have a drafted lineup. Be sure to check this page often, as once a contest starts, you won’t be able to participate if a you haven’t selected your players! The one exception to this rule is Late Swap, allowing for lineup alteration after the contest start time.

What happens if one of my players is scratched before lock?

In the event that one of your players is scratched before lock, that player will receive 0 points should you not swap them from your lineup. As long as you have notifications on, you will receive a notification telling you that this player will not be playing as soon as they are marked OUT by our stats provider. Any changes to a player’s availability will be reflected on the draft screen.

What happens if one of my players is scratched after lock?

In the event that one of your players is scratched after the game in which they are playing locks, that player will receive 0 points. These players are not eligible to be swapped out of your lineup to fortify our Fair-Play policy, protecting other contestants against unfair advantages.
